For the record, we originally contracted another company from the “minor leagues” to install French drains around our basement foundation.
“Disaster” may best describe their efforts but probably “lack of experience and common sense” caused the many problems. I won’t detail everything that went wrong, but I will tell anyone that you eventually came on the scene and all of a sudden the project went from utter disaster to smooth sailing.

Recently you performed a mold remediation in our home and we want to thank you and your crew for doing such a great job. About 12 years ago, Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing, at a high cost to us, put in a waterproofing system in our basement. Over the years, mold had developed and the basement was still unusable Not only did you completely and professionally eradicate the mold, but for a very reasonable fee, you corrected some installation errors Mid-Atlantic had done all those years ago. The drain now goes completely around the walls of the basement, the pump is larger, and we now have the ability to snake the drain should it become clogged.

A few points illustrate the high degree of experience and professionalism offered by this Contractor and his Business;
Jerome offered a well thought out and visually informative presentation that really assisted our understanding of the waterproofing process. Jerome was extremely patient and articulate in explaining the probable cause of our basement water problem. He offered up specific examples of prior clients who had similar problems. Jerome explained in laymen terms how his offered solution would solve the problem. The projected start and finish dates were right on target. His entire team was polite, clean, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure a safe working environment and maintained a high degree of cleanliness. (They were the most well organized and cleanest contractors we have experienced.) The team’s work was of high quality and well planned. His use of twin sump pumps and battery backups are an excellent model for solving a water seepage problem. The team was willing to take the required time to do the job correctly with a a view toward tailoring to our specific needs. Jerome did not push any optional additional work. His team installed additional foundation support for some cracks along the walls, but only after I noticed and requested options.
The system has been in place approximately 30 days with no issues noted. Long term use will determine its viability, however thus far the quality of the work and its implementation seem right on target. ”
